I finished An Education in Malice and it was very good. the writing was beautiful, and the yearning was perfect. the author kept stringing me along, wanting more and more with each sentence. the ending fell flat compared to the rest of the book for me, everything was resolved too easily. 4/5 stars
I started reading An Education in Malice by S. T. Gibson and I am absolutely loving it so far. the writing is beautiful, and i can't put it down. the yearning and toxicity are perfect. if there's one thing that will get me to love a book, it's a toxic romance

Alive From Whispering Pines is what made me really fall in love with Lord Huron. it's so unique and the fact that they change their music to match the feel of it while keeping each song as good as, if not better, than it was originally. it's such a fun and unique experience :)

I read Make Room For Love by Darcy Liao and I liked it. it was a good book, I liked the relationship that formed between the main characters and how it formed was perfect. trans rep is great and I just really had a fun time. 3.5/5

anyway part of the reason I love “classic” TG stories of the sort that populate BC and FM and (sigh) TGST is that so many of them are functionally romances, and I am an incurable romantic who grew up utterly starved of romances with leads who were even slightly legible to me
