This very stupid story feels important to me. The fact that lots of government workers pay for subscription news sites, and that this is a work expense, was not secret. The spending was public (on USASpending.gov).

Got more clarity on this after some calls - admin is pointing to some canceled contracts that included family planning, none of it adding up to $50m in condoms though (that would be 1 billion condoms at the rate USAid gets)
I am asking the same thing, as we already have a WH claim - Biden admin earmarked $50 million "to fund condoms in Gaza" - that is clearly fake.
I wonder how often Fox used the White House as a credited source from, say, Jan. 20, 2021 to Jan. 19 2025.
