I'm looking forward to making art this year. 💜
My 2025 "I wanna draw..." Bingo, filled with subjects I want to draw in the new year. The items in the first row are NSFW art, food, book fanart, f/f ship and cats. The items in the second row are pixel art, kissing, character design, ghosts and architecture. The items in the third row are pride art, m/f ship, gouache, floral art and nonbinary character. The items in the fourth row are poly ship, kink, anatomy study, the ocean and watercolor. The items in the fifth row are movie fanart, horror art, m/m ship, game fanart and clothing study.

OpenAI lost an author's rights case in Germany, and I'm reminded of the time when AI bros were trying to tell me EU directives and German law allowed for AI training on copyrighted works cuz of "research", which now you know for a fact is not the case.

someone asked me literally yesterday if I could use AI for voice acting for Waifu Death Squad since there are so many speaking parts, and my response was "why would I want to do that? Working with actors is the fun part, because they'll surprise you with their line reads or dialogue tweaks."

The thing that strikes me about replacing voice actors with AI slop is that, in the scope of a big AA/AAA production it barely saves money? These people aren't even full time. It's immizerating people because immizerating people is your goal, nothing more.

I'm much more shy about my writing than about my drawings and paintings. Partly, because I don't have as much practise and I'm also not used to showing my texts to other people. At the same time I'm a bit picky about prose and tend to be hyper critical of my own words. 😅
