No more feeling anxious about whether the originals of my Woman in Black illustrations are too expensive, I’ve been in such a worrisome mood recently.

I woke up with chemosis which is basically a blister on your eyeball. Yes it is as disgusting and uncomfortable as it sounds.

I am using the verdaccio technique for my portraits of fair skinned people. Now I would like to paint a portrait of a darker skinned person. Any ideas which colours to use as a base paint under the actual painting?
The person has a very warm, dark brown skin tone.
