One small nice thing about the NYT "Best Movies of the 21st Century" list is that already, more than half the choices weren't Best Picture nominees, a good reminder that awards season isn't the final arbiter of what gets into the canon. (And I'm guessing "Green Book" won't make the cut.)

Then why do they go into effect as soon as they're signed. I love to see a "law" passed that would have a cooling of period and opportunity for Congress to study.
Trump is acting as if he were an autocrat where his Executive Orders become Law, rather than a president where his Executive Orders become suggestions that congress can consider when making Laws.
Trump ahead of signing executive orders: "We're signing some important legislation."

If juries are so meaningless we might as well get rid of them all together.
So, basically Trump’s plan is to swear to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and then immediately break that oath.
