I can actually just cruise, scroll a little, and be done.

Maybe FGs don't need as many players as Fortnite, as long as a game still makes a profit, pays the employees, and has enough players to find a match, it's fine. And hey, who said you have to play FGs to participate in them? You can find the games cool and support them even without playing them

Seeing a lot of videos asking "Why don't more people play fighting games," but I never see anyone bring up my answer. They talk about complexity, single player content, the usual suspects. But I think the number one thing keeping people from playing FGs is simply nobody wants to get their ass kicked

In fighting games the match starts with a steel cage closing down around you and your opponent tells you "I got you for three minutes. Three minutes of play time." Getting your ass beat in a fighting game feels different and I can't blame average people for not liking it
