experts, any ideas on who they are? I haven't seen any AIS transmissions from either of them

Latest update from Covert Cabal shows that Russia's stock of old Soviet era armored vehicles is around half compared with before 2022. Most of the remaining stock is believed to be basically scrap metal though.

Latest update from Covert Cabal shows that Russia's stock of old Soviet era armored vehicles is around half compared with before 2022. Most of the remaining stock is believed to be basically scrap metal though.

The Russian Khmeimim airbase in Latakia, Syria, is still completely packed with planes, missiles, fuel trucks etc. You can be sure that the new Syrian army has pointed many barrels, missiles and drones at this location. Obviously, there are negotiations ongoing in the background.
