I like Andrew's breakdown and the potential fractions of what Nneka did. Unlike Unrivaled (and to a lesser extent AU) which are Player's Cooperative League and of a different style, Project B is not. WNBPA posting her joining another league is wild.

Nneka taking entering that league is wild. I'd take what Stew and Phee did over that.
On the other hand, the NBA had taken gambling and oil money. That already tells that at the end of it, in sports, it's all about the money for them. Sad though.

Breeze is gonna w-hoop it!
That team is young and they fit.
Paige - Aari
Rikea - Kate
Dom - Cam

Blue Jays fell short of their goal. But that was a great match against loaded team.

I feel this Game 7 will get tighter and tighter. I don't know which to root for at this point, both have been playing great all series.

I very much agree with the sentiments I am seeing about how quiet the NBPA are.
The NFL and Soccer Players have shown support to their sisters, while the NBA Players remain quiet despite earning a giga ton of money.

Oh, so Dominique Malonga quit Fenerbahçe to join Unrivaled.
October 30, 2025 at 11:28 PM
I bet after seeing the success of Unrivaled, ESPN stepped up.
Finally. They will now fully air Athletes Unlimited.

Curt Miller flying to Valencia and posting pictures of him watching a practice. The dude knows what he is doing to those Wings fans (chaos of Azzi FC and Awa FC). 🤣

Curt convincing Awak to return next season...
Now, this made me think of an Awa-Awak front court, that sounds great 😁 #agenda

Finally, a long time assistant going up the ranks. A Woman of color to cheer on.

Oh... Kit Laksa of the Phoenix Mercury is a USF grad, so she came from Jose Fernandez's system. That's nice to know. 😮
October 24, 2025 at 3:30 AM
If Jose Fernandez get/pick Awa Fam, based on my readings on how he uses his bigs, I'm in on him.
October 24, 2025 at 2:01 AM
After seeing that Jose Fernandez was a finalist in last year's coaching hire by the Dallas Wings, I think Curt did a ton of apologizing, but at the same time, that they know each other for him to still accept the job.

I like this for Paige, honestly, given her Passive reputation (for which I blame the system she's on than her).
Let the primary players shine. Have that aspect of team being aggressive. Rather than reading what the defense is doing and probe, attacking first and making the defense react is very key.
"The type of offensive sets he runs forces defenses to abandon defending straight-up. Not enough time to switch, so it usually ends up with defenses settling into a zone. It’s a more proactive system as opposed to reactive (read-&-react)"

Sharing Conrado Pascual's thoughts on Jose Fernandez's Offense:🧵🧵🧵

"Really creative coaching style, especially his approach to offense. His zone offense is specifically designed to attack a zone D; uses a lot of stack sets to create advantages and higher usage for the team’s primary triple-threat."
October 24, 2025 at 1:20 AM
Ohhhh.... I'll wait for this too.

I might be wrong, but wasn't USF the only D-1 school that gave Courtney an offer?
Hmm wonder if Courtney will say anything about him
October 24, 2025 at 12:42 AM
I think I could cope with this given his WBB experience compare to the Portland Fire guy.
The Dallas Wings have their next head coach.

USF's Jose Fernandez has been chosen, what do we think?

This is Steph's ultimate superpower. Always Moving and Screening without the ball. He's like a spoon, stirring a drink, creating a swirl - a whirlpool even. Making him tougher to guard.

If I'm thinking of WNBA comp on how they play, it's... Paige Bueckers.
This is why Steph Curry as a screener is such a cheat code. I mean look at two defenders completely ignore Jimmy (with the ball!) and stick to Steph lmaoooo
October 22, 2025 at 11:43 AM
Yeah, it's should not be about revenue share, because you don't want to share.
Goodluck to the CBA.
Adam Silver on the WNBA labor talks:

"I think share isn't the right way to look at it because there's so much more revenue in the NBA...they are gonna get a big increase in this cycle of collective bargaining and they deserve it"
October 22, 2025 at 12:42 AM
I didn't want to comment on Dominique Malonga's fallout with Fenerbahçe without the complete details.
For me, this is a communication 101 mistake. You say can't sign a 3 YEAR contract and just shrug it. That's Breach of Contract, which is illegal across the globe, and it can strangle your options.
October 22, 2025 at 12:16 AM
Make this happen for me Lynx.
Get Awa Fam and pair her with Phee. Getting her into the best coach (with facilities and support) is the best that could happen.

I love watching Awa Fam, and will definitely watch her wherever she goes. Elite level foot work, pivot is smooth for a 6'4-6'6 frame, finishing skills up and showing her IQ more this year with her passing skills from both Inside-Out and Outside-In.
