I've played a whole bunch of games this week that are entirely singular experiences. Tarnished Blood, Extreme Evolution, Burggeist, Psychopomp Gold
The occasional glimmer of familiarity or mechanic from something else, but taken as a whole they're just alien to me. I love it.
And that's rad.
