I really love the way that Tomato Soup (that's the artist's name) does fabric-patterns-as-screentones, with the bold use of right angle orientation, ignoring clothing folds (the "SHAFT effect"), etc...
The use of inks and patterns in this comic (A Witch's Life in Mongol) is just superb.

a cool thing about short stories is that they're great for days like today, when i just finished reading one book in a series yesterday but the next book in that series is sitting on a delivery truck somewhere between me and new jersey

This pops up every once in awhile and I always share it. Wu Tang goes in and out of popularity with the times, but there's no denying there was a Dream Team level of talent and brilliance on that roster. True artists.

the way i see it, if i consume enough microplastics they will end up fully encasing my brain, creating a neurological fossil so that people from the future can reconstruct a mental simulacrum of me making me immortal
