I learned a new level of this recently. When your RSD gets directed at others so you avoid "rejecting" them.
Legit one of the worst aspects of RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria, common among people with ADHD) is KNOWING you're having an irrational emotional response to something and not being able to do shit about it anyway 😭

Late age diagnosis can be tricky to come to grips with. I was around 30 for my ADHD diagnosis but it's definitely been a journey since then. RSD has been a fun one to dig into
Me: gets autism diagnosis at 40.
Also me: Cool, but how am I supposed to tell what’s ‘autistic’ and what’s just… me?
