Answering them with "Yeah but numbers/graphs lie" is a fun way to make their brains short circuit

Same with developer positions in many studios and software development as a whole. it's ridiculous expecting people to spend a full time job's worth of work for every place they're applying at. The only thing they're testing is the applicant's tolerance to bullshit... So maybe it is accurate /s

Thanks for the info, is it the new formulation ? I tied a few different paint brands and just kinda gave up them tbh. But seeing what people pull off with them, like you here or elminiatureista on IG, does make me curious to try again.

Cool thanks for checking! I only heard it on one of his recent videos

Coverage can be a pain though, what brand did you use?

+1 for Acerola, he doesn't have much if any content out just yet on godot but he announced it at least. Maybe there's stuff on his GitHub already?

I can't believe you just said that! All joking aside I have a similar feeling. Haven't figured out how these kinds of platforms work.

Well I would... Wait a minute am I being tricked!?

Absolutely, the amount of time I've had to tell friends/family/... to stop getting their information on a group of people from those who hate them is ridiculous

Very relatable, reminds me of the reel by adhd_love on insta where they find that hypermobility is common with people with ADHD. I felt the exasperated "Can I just have one personality trait that isn't related to ADHD please" comment in my bones

My current thinking is around the central tension between game programmers and non-game programmers

Also: nuance be damned let's make big sweeping overgeneralisations damn it! 😅

Ow yeah definitely agreed. If no one is going to read it, it only benefits the person who wrote it.

I like Notion as a tool for this exact reason. All documents feel like they're alive and there to be edited by anyone when it's appropriate.

Making documentation people will actually read is also a skill. I like DevOps' philosophy of including improving the process as a part of the work. Which lines up nicely with your points I think
