Renee Good’s last words were to ICE agent Jonathan Ross: “That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad at you.” Then Ross shot Renee three times in the face. As she was dying, his last words to her were: “Fucking bitch.” And JD Vance thought that exchange exonerated ICE. That says it all.

The person ICE murdered was a good person.
The deputy White House chief of staff, Stephen Miller, called Pretti a “domestic terrorist” and an “assassin.” In fact, Pretti was a registered nurse working in intensive care at a Department of Veterans Affairs hospital.

This is who he really was.

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

"We are all immigrants, and we are sitting on native land."
The 4chan idiots who run this administration are deeply out of touch with "real America" and have no idea what they've set off.

Our taxes paid for this. Does that make us all accomplices?
What if we just stopped paying taxes?

Trump wants the rich to be richer, unions to be weaker, and everyone else to be easier to exploit.

He's not ushering in a New Golden Age. He's taking us back to the Gilded Age.

This couldn't be clearer one year into his second term in office.

THE WOMAN WHO WAS DRAGGED OUT OF HER CAR AND ARRESTED BY ICE SPEAKS OUT…

We’ve all seen the videos, but it matters to hear Aliya Rahman say it herself.

📌 She says her treatment in custody was dehumanizing, and that officers completely failed to take her disability seriously.

Every measure of progress in history has been met with pushback from those in power.
This is another one of those moments.

"You don't have the privilege to be exhausted," historian Jon Meachem says about the moment we're in, as federal forces occupy an American city. #Velshi
‘You don’t have the privilege to be exhausted’: Jon Meacham reflects on this moment in history
The freedom that we enjoy today is the outcome of years – if not decades – of struggle. We’ve been in a period of relative peace, but the upheaval of the past year has jostled many Americans out of stupor, especially following the recent shooting of Renee Good in a city that has been overrun by federal officers. Renowned presidential historian Jon Meacham gives Ali Velshi a sober analysis of this moment in American history. “I don’t know if it’s likely we’ll prevail,” he says. “All I have is the evidence of our past which is that we have, just barely, managed to keep this experiment towards this more perfect union unfolding.”

We just saw this, and it’s a good idea for businesses to post. Private businesses are allowed to set dress and conduct rules. Requiring no full face coverings has long been standard for safety and loss prevention reasons, and it is within a business’s rights to refuse entry or service.
