I don't have a car, but I've travelled to another COUNTRY to see a movie, more times than I can remember. Only last month I had to go all the way to the fucking Netherlands to see FRANKENSTEIN because fucking Netflix didn't release it in Belgian cinemas. Which is YOUR FAULT. Fuck you.

One argument I find grating re: movie stuff is “Why do you even care about this?”

Dude. They’re movies. They’re trivial by nature, with obvious exceptions. None of this technically matters, the discussion is part of the hobby.

👇 we at YMMWT are audio-only in part for this reason (among many). only so many hours in a day!
will also add - yes, this is my personal crusade - that turning podcasts into videos implicitly asks women to once again make more effort than men, as the bar for "camera-ready" for one gender is obviously higher than for the other
