Secured the 'Monster High Skullector Alien doll' after surviving the Mattel drop (it was sold out in 5 minutes). I don't buy merch, but the way this blends terrifying sci-fi horror with a sleek, high-fashion silhouette is incredibly fascinating. And deeply unnerving. Perfect 😅.

Connected an old PlayStation 3 for a work meeting (discussing Buzz Quiz World!, not for a new Buzz game FYI) and immediately spotted this classic. Good memories, PlayStation Home still ranks as one of the most fun 'games' I ever worked on.

Wanted to watch a film with my 6 year old this afternoon, she chose 'Grave of the Fireflies' on Netflix. I only really knew it was critically acclaimed and that it was 'sad', but was not prepared for this extreme level of sadness. Holy crap.

Remains incredible to see people posting on social media about how it only costs them a few pounds (£3-£4) typically to fully charge up their EV, and then you consistently get angry petrol people coming in shouting "yeah, right!", "not true!". Or perhaps they're bots?

It's fascinating watching my daughter learn about money in school. She's okay doing the maths, but the hardest thing for her is recognising the coins themselves - she's only seen the occasional pound in her life, but that's it. Makes you think about how much the world's changed.
