Secured the 'Monster High Skullector Alien doll' after surviving the Mattel drop (it was sold out in 5 minutes). I don't buy merch, but the way this blends terrifying sci-fi horror with a sleek, high-fashion silhouette is incredibly fascinating. And deeply unnerving. Perfect 😅.

Good win for Bluesky to not have Twitter/X listed in the official #Eurovision app anymore, and Bluesky listed first.

Connected an old PlayStation 3 for a work meeting (discussing Buzz Quiz World!, not for a new Buzz game FYI) and immediately spotted this classic. Good memories, PlayStation Home still ranks as one of the most fun 'games' I ever worked on.

If things are too bad there is always this in the Netherlands 😅.

Weird to see Facebook posts like this, when I actually used to live in this house 😅

Very exciting, one of the people in our team has started building the first paper prototype for our upcoming Befuddle Tabletop Game. Genuinely much love for this part of the process of creating new experiences.

Bluesky now has over 10 million users, and I was #109,281!

I've been doing some more work with our manufacturing partner on polishing the box design for our physical Awkward card game. Getting close now with the lenticular 3D cover, and I had an idea on how we can further reduce the use of plastic for the game, so overall good progress.

Ah yes, found it! Local Heroes is definitely there, just not individual names by the looks of it :).

The magic of a physical game release never ceases to impress me. Thanks to our team's hard work and efforts, and our friends at Ubisoft, we now have (after Family Feud) UNO as the second Snap Finger Click game that can be found on retail shelves all throughout the country 😍.

Apparently, our little game studio is using all the internet. So Virgin Media is now digging up the road just for us so they can give us our very own dedicated super-fast connection. We promise to use it wisely... mostly.

We almost sold through all of our stock from our Awkward card game so I've been preparing for a new print run. I thought we should keep polishing the box art, here is the latest WIP. I think it's going in a good direction 🙂.

Poking at the Awkward 2 front-end UI. Big improvement over the current in-game UI, but considering bringing over some ideas that I originally had for the Awkward card game manual. Let's do it!

Was considering skipping a Pixel upgrade this year, but the (reliable) leaked design of the Pixel 9 Pro looks so good. Tempting!

Finally completed the incredible Tears of the Kingdom. It didn't blow me away in the same way Breath of the Wild did, but Ultrahand and Recall are true technical engineering masterpieces. Those two features delivered a genuine next-gen experience, so much fun.

Next up: Spider-Man 2!

One of the best things about the @snapfingerclick.com office is that it's directly on the Brighton seafront. Just took this photo outside, not much beats a view like this.

Using a screenshot, what's a video game you've played more than once.

Am I too old, or are there others here who still clearly remember the first music record they bought?

Sorry record labels, but I used to copy (🔥) cassettes for years. My first legal cassette tape was Totally Krossed Out by Kriss Kross, bought it when I was 12.

Not too cringe at least?

Ah, that makes sense, it was the same at EA. I left EA in 2008 so for a long time I've thought that the shares wouldn't have been worth much because they had on-going losses after that, but had a look now and the last couple of years have been pretty strong 😅.
