EU scraps plans to reduce pesticide use by 50%. Disappointing lack of leadership here. The 50% target had flaws, but was needed to drive the kind of reductions we need to see. Sad to see it scrapped entirely not reworked.

Within our DBU funded wood-pasture project we aim to understand the wood-pastures as social-ecological systems. Interviews and workshops helped in developing this systems understanding. Building and validating such systems diagrams is fascinating.
