People who value truth are at a disadvantage because truth is hard and, as a result, there is a massively larger market for fantasy.
People who value truth are at a disadvantage. Liars and conspiracy theorists will repeat widely debunked info as if new, without minding in the slightest that it’s false, repeatedly shown to be false, and often never made sense to begin with. Because they’re anti-truth. They really don’t value it.
As someone who tracked the Russia probe closely and then tracked the effort to discredit the Russia probe closely, its brain-breaking (though not surprising) to see the administration trot out the same old debunked, cherry-picked shit in an effort to retcon Trump’s 2016 campaign.

In just four counties in Central Texas--Hayes, Williamson, Bexar, and Kerr--700,000 people voted for Vice President Harris.

Just those four counties had more votes for VP Harris than the total votes for her in 14 states and D.C.

I understand you're angry, but that anger is very misplaced.
I wish it wasn't the case, but liberals are running out of empathy. We just can't keep caring about people that don't care about us.

I'm truly sorry for the families affected by this, but we have so many problems and only liberals care about actual solutions.
Your regular reminder that most people in this country can't afford to move to another state and the inclination to say they're getting what they voted for in the devastation of a hurricane or flood or whatever the hell is a failure of common sense and empathy on multiple levels.

If you want to know what Trump and Musk and the oligarchs want for the United States as a whole, just look at rural communities.

Hollowed out spaces with struggling schools, rotting infrastructure, no access to healthcare or daycare, and factory farms moving in.

Everyone knew this could happen. Abbott vouchers are a cash cow for grifters.
“It’s more government, more bureaucracy, more money, and there’s no oversight. And it’s taxation without representation,. The taxpayers don’t get to pick who these private companies are that our tax dollars are going into. So that is not a free market.”

The Legislature’s current proposals put a handful of private contractors in the driver’s seat. Other states have already seen problems.

Great read:

Attention all my🇺🇸 friends!
I highly recommend delving into Umberto Eco's essay on Fascism. It is the ultimate guide to understanding the core of this ideology. Though brief, it is essential reading for grasping the fundamentals of fascist beliefs.
