a lady outside the asian grocery was selling 2 of these greenish waffles for $5 that she was making on a waffle iron and i doubt i've enjoyed a syrupless waffle this much in my life

for 2026 i'm going back to just calling people on the phone without arranging it beforehand via text. i kind of resent that we have painted ourselves into this corner where people see someone calling out of the blue and their first thought is "oh jeez what's wrong?"
