Mainly interested in frogs, Greeks, and geeks. Love an Oxford comma. Trolls belong under bridges. The T belongs in LGBT+. Sometimes, my legs hurt. Je parle français.
Daz Simpson's 'Teenage Life' could have won 2006 #Eurovision if there was less rapping and the lyrics were more generalised.

Game Freak: Why don't you go fight all the gym leaders again?

Me: Why don't you programme some worthwhile post-game content, huh? What about that? WHAT ABOUT THAT??

Obviously the #RobbieWilliams chimp biopic flopped because they underestimated middle America #movies

Cardassian computer displays are so busy. Lots of rotating circles and flashing colours. Maybe it's necessary to keep their lizard brains engaged #StarTrek

I understand the appeal of cloning woolly mammoths or dodoes, but couldn't we use the same technology and resources to increase the population of endangered species? Who would object to more elephants? #animals #cloning #extinction

It's a cliché but Vulcans really lie all the time. Tuvok would claim Vulcans don't need oxygen if it would get Neelix to leave him alone #StarTrek

I don't think Threshold is *as bad* as people remember but there are storytelling choices that make it poor, like having Paris escape confinement off screen despite the fact we already know what his transformed face looks like #StarTrek

The holodeck programme Voyager really needs is a full-time psychiatrist, not a seedy French bar #StarTrek

In 1977, Vincent Price starred in a one-man-show where he played openly gay Oscar Wilde; it was condemned by Anita Bryant. When asked about her condemnation, Price replied that Wilde had already written a play about Anita: “A Woman of No Importance”

So in Voyager Season 2, Kim suggests that he and Paris sometimes perform Molière's comedies on the holodeck. And we never get to see it! #StarTrek

I would never speak ill of the dead, so I would like to congratulate Anita Bryant for successfully making it to Hell. It's a tough school to get into but she worked hard for it #AnitaBryant #lgbtq

Honestly, the reason so many people join Starfleet is because the uniforms look great compared to the hideous clothes civilians are wearing ##StarTrek

I love #StarTrek Voyager but it never would have survived today's fans. In Season 1, a dog is a key witness in a murder. And it's just a dog. 70,000 lightyears from Earth. Just a dog, never addressed. Forget the Dinosaur people, how did #dogs get there?!

Normalising territorial seizure is dangerous for many reasons and could have serious consequences outside North America. I can think of at least one EU nation with a long-term revanchist claim against a neighbour #Greenland #Panama

Fun fact: Not all Black Bears are black. Black Bears come in a range of colours including blond, brown, cinnamon, black and a creamy white (Kermode or Spirit Bear). Here's a pair of "Black" Bears I saw out for a stroll in Waterton Lakes National Park a few springs ago. #wildlife #bears

So there's a new magazine that will let you build a mini Dalek, which seems like the plot of a two-part episode of #DoctorWho featuring Kate Stewart.

You'd think the effects of #climatechange would now be undeniable. Wildfires in California out of control while people in Ireland have been snowed into their homes for the first time in their lives. Yet some people are even denying the weather itself.

I sometimes have to remind myself that #light pollution is a modern phenomenon. When the Ancient Greeks or Renaissance artists looked into the night sky, they saw the stars in a way urban dwellers usually don't now #stars #stargazing
