Jonathan Joss--voice actor of John Redcorn from King of the Hill, and Ken Hotate from Parks and Rec--was killed in a homophobic hate crime today.

I'm so angry.
Statement from Tristan Kern de Gonzales Husband of Jonathan Joss My husband Jonathan Joss and I were involved in a shooting while checking the mail at the site of our former home. That home was burned down after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us they would set it on fire. We reported these threats to law enforcement multiple times and nothing was done. Throughout that time we were harassed regularly by individuals who made it clear they did not accept our relationship. Much of the harassment was openly homophobic. When we returned to the site to check our mail we discovered the skull of one of our dogs and its harness placed in clear view. This caused both of us severe emotional distress. We began yelling and crying in response to the pain of what we saw. While we were doing this a man approached us. He started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us. He then raised a gun from his lap and fired. Jonathan and I had no weapons. We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life. Jonathan is my husband. He gave me more love in our time together than most people ever get. We were newlyweds. We picked Valentines Day. We were in the process of looking for a trailer and planning our future. He was murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other. I was with him when he passed. I told him how much he was loved. To everyone who supported him, his fans, his friends, know that he valued you deeply. He saw you as family. My focus now is on protecting Jonathan’s legacy and honoring the life we built together. If your concern is how someone coped with trauma or how loudly they speak when recounting injustice and being ignored by authorities then you never truly cared about my husband. Jonathan saved my life. I will carry that forward. I will protect what he built. Tristan Kern de Gonzales

The email reads: Hello, This is regarding the newly-added checked bag fees. I'm sure you have seen many complaints today; thank you for considering and processing them. The 2 free checked bag policy was the only reason many of my friends and I ever booked Southwest. I am a cosplayer who travels to out-of-state conventions, so I often needed to use the 2 free checked bags to carry my large costumes. Despite Southwest tickets being markedly more expensive than other airlines overall, the additional cost was offset by the free checked bags for these trips. I usually fly American Airlines for all other trips, because otherwise i just need a carry-on to travel with. Because of this policy change, it is no longer economical for me to book Southwest again; American Airlines would be cheaper in all cases, even with checked bags. I believe this change is going to burn customer brand loyalty, and will decrease profit to the company in the long run; I am already seeing similar sentiments from my peers. Please forward this sentiment to feedback management. Thank you for your consideration,

Been chipping away at this in my free time, sort of a redo of a comm from a while back; i loved the character design and always felt I didn't quite do it justice in the original, so I wanted to use the character for style tests and this is how she turned out, think I'm pretty happy with it :')

She is dressed primarily in dark blues and golds, with lots of jewelry and trim, and also wears lighter blue sheer flowing cloth over her dress. Her hair is long, wavy, and flowing, going from dark indigo at the top to a pastel yellowish-pink at the ends in a gradient. She is holding a large sword with a pale gold blade etched with lighter designs I the middle, with a long gold hilt decorated with blue roses and purple thorns at the guard. The background is an art nouveau-style graphic mostly consisting of flowing linework and celestial iconography.

This just came up so for anyone who doesn't know - .AI files are *a vector file type*, they are Adobe Illustrator's native file type. Files ending with .ai don't have anything to do with /that/ kind of AI 🫶 Pls don't call out an artist bc you see them working on an .ai file
