Dye bath round two for the fashion layer because it did not take very well. It was the last fabric I dyed yesterday so I think the other fabrics just took all the good dye hehe

OKAY! because then I would attach it to a thin piece of HD foam for structure and install straps that will help hold it and give the curve it needs. I would have to cover the top of the upholstery foam, though, and I am still undecided on how to do that, but we're getting somewhere!

I took one soft gel 30 minutes before bed. Definitely could feel the drowsiness coming on, and got to sleep quickly once I closed my eyes. Had some nonsensical dreams, but nothing scary or worrisome. Didn't have too much trouble waking up (though I did immediately get coffee, so bare in mind.]

Again, not a foam person. But I think I got this where I want it to be and it works with my anatomy! Hard to photograph since it curves naturally, but here's a rough idea!

I am working on patterning out the bracers. Armor/foam is not my specialty, so getting a head start on that part of it. Using some old DND print outs to save paper!

I am in the material gathering stage, I have ordered fabrics and am using Simplicty Pattern M7882 as a starting guide, because why start from scratch when you don't have to? (Also, it was on sale for $2 and if it saves me time, I'm all in.)
