Read a very short story with a young protagonist befriending a baby dragon and talked about my writing process to a bunch of 4th thru 6th graders at my kids' former elementary school. It was fun, and the students had some excellent questions for me!

Actually, fuck it. Writing "Hedging Your Bets" gave me the euphoria and at least one all-pronoun using person said it resonated with them too. Get it for free! I've acted blase and mercenary about it, but it felt real and good, and I hope it does for you too.
