A few months ago, I posted a piece about my thoughts around seeing Sleep Token live, by myself. Now with the US tour concluded, I felt a followup would be in order. Were my anxieties unfounded?

The short answer is no. They were not.

I’m on the scene at Franklin and 1st. A convoy of about a couple dozen ICE/HSI agents broke the entryway into an apartment building at 6am. No warrant presented. Less than 24 hours ago, Tom Homan announced the end of large convoys in Minnesota… Bullshit.

I've never been more proud to be a Minnesotan. Even if it's just a nomination. It's a small glimmer of something resembling hope here right now.
A Nobel Peace Prize nomination for Minneapolis is really a recognition of people power and it’s the first time a whole city has been put forward for the prize.

Walmart's wages are so low that its workers are among the most likely to rely on SNAP and Medicaid to get by.

Democrats will now get the fight they should want: a hardball negotiation over DHS funding alone. And it looks like they're in a pretty strong position.
