After a long time, i tested the big level on my potato intel nuc hades (2018)

Lowest possible res,
without shadows,
average 20 fps 🫠

Arena level, with mid res, few dyn lights: 60 fps

Decision:
The sidestory game will
only have arena sized levels.

Refacturing the portal shader.

It is only missing some particle effects now, and an animation of the shader when someone or something comes through the portal.

In most cases in Godot (3d):

Drawcalls >= 1000 = 💀
Drawcalls > 200 < 1000 = 🫠
Drawcalls < 200 = 🙌
