Tameable tomorrow: 2 WINDSTEED and 4 new CLOUD SERPENT looks!
For a minor patch it has some some amazing tames!
All require you to complete the new Pandaren Heritage story so you can reach the Wandering Isle on any character.

Which mount did/will you pick for your reward? I grabbed the Bronze Corpsefly because I always loved that model!

Surprisingly, no!
The new hawkstrider has the old tallstrider run animation (and its neck is a little crooked...), so currently the animation change appears to be purely for the tallstrider.
(The Dragonflight hornstrider hasn't been given the new animation, either).
Maybe it's TBD?

There's a change to tallstrider running animations in Midnight. It no longer holds its head out almost horizontally, but keeps it much more upright as it runs.
This is closer to how it originally ran (the Classic animation was even more upright). The "stick your neck out" run was added much later.

Interesting comparison of textures applied to the Eversong mana wyrm (coming in Midnight).
Top: the standard 'white' look.
Bottom: the 'white' textures copied from mount to non-mount model.
As you can see, the mount texture gives it a warmer, golden look and would be worth copying over!
