Mayor Grier Hopkins is relying on the Pearl Creek charter's appeal to be successful. He plans on locking the borough into a long term lease that has yet to be negotiated to save his neighborhood school that he attended as a kid.

This will definitely fix MLB's gambling problem.

No way will addicts attempt to circumvent this.
MLB announces that all authorized betting partners will now cap wagers on pitch-level bets at $200 and exclude them from parlays. Pitch-level bets, you may remember, are the kind Clase, Ortiz, and their co-conspirators allegedly exploited.

Easy!

Cut corrections and state troopers.
Fund teachers and schools.
Improving Alaska’s public schools isn’t cheap — and educators say there are no quick fixes. Lawmakers on the state’s new education task force heard calls for stable funding, better pay, pensions and smaller classes.

There it is.

Every aspect of commercial airspace in this country is built on another. The ripple effect from 10% reduction goes everywhere. (Like how a blizzard shutting down JFK impacts Atlanta & Miami.)

Now, call your reps & tell them to get their lazy selves back to work. The House must open.
BREAKING: The U.S. Department of Transportation announces it will reduce scheduled airspace capacity by 10% starting Friday morning if the government shutdown has not ended, citing "growing pressure" in the NAS as controllers and other personnel continue to go unpaid. Developing story.

The Speaker of the House is getting paid not to work while the NTSB team heading to the crash site in Kentucky is not.

Mike Johnson needs to call the House back in session or get his ass down there and shift some wreckage.

He needs to experience what dedicated federal employees do for a living.

A Pope once dug up the body of another Pope, put the dead Pope on trial, and then desecrated the corpse by cutting off the fingers the dead Pope used for blessings.

I wouldn't piss off the Pope.

The Carter Foundations work to eradicate Guinea worm is remarkable.

I use Guinea worm to teach about disease in developing countries and disease eradication efforts.

A few years ago, I got a terrible haircut. It was one of those Richard Spencer fascist haircuts.

I was mad. I haven't even gotten a haircut since although I'll trim it eventually.

That was a haircut so I'm not really buying keeping a Nazi tattoo.
