Reason Australia’s technology sector has not felt the “whistleblowing wave” that tore through Silicon Valley & the European Union is because they have seen whistleblowers like David McBride, Richard Boyle, Kitness K & others prosecuted by Australian governments.

Tech whistleblowers urged to come forward and expose corporate wrongdoing
Despite high-profile cases such as WiseTech and Grok Academy, Australia has yet to experience the “whistleblowing wave” sweeping through Silicon Valley and Europe.

Last night “The Drive” short film was screened. Ryder & I played the two main characters, directed by Vanessa Ekins. Ryder is a natural actor and it’s his dream to be one, so we are getting his reel & head shots ready to send to some agents. Great end to a shitty year for us both. Bring on 2025 🙌⭐️🙏

Shoebridge: "Do you accept that the standards you set send a message to the whole of the public service?"

Yes, Brereton says.

Shoebridge then goes through, at length and piece by piece, the multiple decisions and engagements Brereton made in relation to Robodebt. Ouch.

Brereton is doing a great job of filibustering this NACC oversight committee hearing which has just 90 minutes for questions from senators. Almost half an hour gone now and he's still in his opening statement. Mostly rehash of his speech from last week so far.

Brereton desperately trying to justify how he doesn’t have a conflict of interest in selecting the ‘eminent’ lawyer to investigate the #Robodebt decision. Where is Australia’s head lawyer @MarkDreyfusKCMP This is his remit? Why hasn’t he asked #Brereton to stand down?💀☠️
