I've managed to condense the Autobots into 5 shelves thus far, I think the 4 truck bros plus hoist and trail breaker will fill out the 6th row and then it will be MOTU down to the floor. Strongly considering selling the Junkions.

Threads (1984) is bleak AF. Mick Jackson and Barry Hines wrong so much out of what they have to work with. If you've seen The Day After there are instant comparisons to be made, but where these two films diverge is after the respective nuclear strikes. A strong recommendation #filmsky

The more bots I transform for storage the more I realise how many pieces I should/could/can cull from my current collection - Legacy Elita-1 is a prime example.

Hume, per conservative talking points, is stretching the truth about how much land area renewable energy projects will cover in the future.

For a proper view on the topic there is this information from the ANU: iceds.anu.edu.au/news-events/...

When updates go terribly wrong: on the left is the old essential energy storm tracker graphic, which perfectly conveyed how big electrical storms were (albeit restricted to southeast Australia). On the right the new graphic, which is an indecipherable mess.

Going for a big sleep in the tub. These bots have dominated my shelves since 2018-19, it's time to rotate them in favour of other things.

AHOD is strongest in its first act, where Bigelow extracts some good performances from her cast while ratcheting up the tension. By the time act 3 guides you through the same story, from a slightly different angle, the tension and terror is diminished, replaced by futility. Maybe that's the point.

Near Dark (1987) - Watched this last night, fascinated by the way Kathryn Bigelow eschewed every vampiric trait except for blood thirst and enhanced strength/undeadness. You never even see a single fang or distorted face. Paxton's Severen is a true sociopath of cinema.

Given my apathy towards Hasbro TFs right now I'm considering packing half of these away and putting up my Blokees, MOTU and miscellaneous stuff.
