🇬🇧 🇨🇦 🇺🇸 +! Writing a book about my Topgun Vietnam fighter pilot dad, and my mother coping on her own in California. And how the Vietnam war forever messed with the USA. Including what’s happening now.

Lessons learned from lawsuits with liars:

1. Do not help them.

2. If they create legal, moral, tactical vulnerabilities, use them! Fight!

3. Never let them control the narrative or claim high ground. Expose their hypocrisy, smear them with their own bull.

4. Don’t despair. Don’t give up.
If your house of worship is silent about the cruelty and the attacks on your neighbors by ICE, you’re at the wrong church, mosque, synagogue, temple, or gurdwara.

Powerful ad by Interfaith Alliance — a plea for humanity.

Wouldn’t it be lovely
Ideally the dumbest person in America and the President would be two different people

This. In “the land of the free, home of the brave.” Horrible.

Amazing that this is so close to the real thing 😂

If only!
If only there had been signs that a group of below average men who espouse misogynist views and are led by an adjudicated rapist would treat their female colleagues poorly.

And have they ever looked across the Atlantic to see the consequences of electing incompetent loudmouths who suck up to murderous authoritarians? Or maybe they like the idea?
The super-rich rightwing are pouring money into Reform. Do ordinary voters really think their aim is to even out social inequality and make their lives better? Do they think they’re doing it so Farage invests in infrastructure and public services? Ffs. Democracy being beaten to death in plain sight.

There should be a law that therapists are not allowed to be younger than you. I will not be taking advice from a 25 year old because the decisions I made at 25 are the reason I need therapy now.

How the hell did we get here.
The President of the United States - who isn’t sure which part of his body they’re MRI-ing - recently called for the death of his Dem opposition.

Meanwhile his SecDef is confessing to first degree murder and the #GOP Congress is disobeying their oaths to protect a serial child rapist - also POTUS.

😭 will never get over DOGE. 600,000 people dead after shutting down USAID and it’s barely discussed.

During the Vietnam War, many military members from all branches, having taken an oath to the Constitution, not to the President, objected to being forced to kill people (or the risk of their own death) for reasons that had no direct link to national security. Look how that war worked out.

Just finished my first draft and often felt like I had to relearn every day. How to research and how to put research into a non-boring narrative, mostly.
I think the thing about writing books that annoys me is that you have to keep relearning how to write them. Each book is different and asks different things of you. You have to keep growing and shit.

Please, interviewers, you don’t need to give this guy an especially hard time, but you do need to pick up the rubbish Farage leaves lying around.
Farage can now be easily boxed in to a corner where his only ‘defence’ becomes: “Yes I spouted Kremlin propaganda & Putin worship but, unlike Nathan Gill, I didn’t need bribes to do it.”
It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.

Not illustrate, but yes.
I want A.I. to do my admin and laundry while I write and illustrate books. I don't want A.I. to write and illustrate books while I do my admin and laundry.

I like this guy. He’s smart and brave and beats Xian nationalists at their own game every time.

Love my Georgia senators too. Hope he joins them.
It’s official!

I just filed to run for the US Senate.

It’s time to take power back for working people.

Makes me so angry to hear Holy Mike lying about “protecting” women from exposure in releasing the full files.

People like him and the pervert he is protecting, failed to protect these girls a long time ago.

Those who aren’t already redacted want justice and accountability, not more BS.

Choosing friends wisely! Hard one to learn…
Swedish Deputy PM: Sweden needs to pick its friends wisely, and we are choosing Canada… So when we come to America, we come to Canada now.

NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

Oh my, I know people like this. Zero self-awareness.
every epstein email is some creep complaining about MeToo and then being like “oh before i forget, any advice on how to use my position of authority to force women into sleeping with me?”

Okay maybe there is such a thing as karma.

Truly proud of Georgia’s senators. Both have had to work double to succeed in a state in which GOP political tactics have tried hard to undermine them.
Thank you, Senators. This is why you’ll continue to have the support of the people.

The moment the Affordable Care Act was signed into law.
It is a dirty shame how Republicans have tried to get rid of it, with no replacement in sight. Ever! I will always be grateful for President Obama. He truly cared about America.

Growing up in the Deep South all I ever heard about FDR (and Eleanor for that matter) was that he was a socialist and just, somehow, bad. It took watching Ken Burns’ documentary to learn how truly great he was, and how much good he did for the American people, for each individual.
81 years ago, FDR proposed a second Bill of Rights to guarantee every American the right to employment, healthcare, education, housing, and a living income. His words are as relevant now as they were then. Watch.
