Here to escape the dross of society on Twitter who think they’re about to usher in a new era in which they rule over us all.

Yes, when cooking I snap the spaghetti/linguini in half so it fits the pan.

It’s just better that way.
TLDR: Musks fault.

This is apalling, but what did we expect? Humans were always going to use AI for porn or to dream up new ways of killing one another.

This should have been foreseen and shut down with legislation backed by huge fines.

Let’s do what Denmark did and give everyone copyright over their own likeness.

Feels……………. abnormal.

The people who can’t read are expecting those who visit space to throw away their books.

100% this is driven by some religious zealot weirdo that is stashed away in the WH apparatus somewhere.

Suggest moving them from one room to another and saying you binned them.
Totally normal. Nothing to see here 😡

If you “accidentally, sorry guv” put sexually explicit material containing minors on the internet you’d be in jail so fast your head would spin.

Elon Musk though? He’ll rip another fat line of Ketamine and use a $1000 bill to light a candle. No police will knock on his/his chief programmers door.
“As noted, we’ve identified lapses in safeguards and are urgently fixing them—CSAM is illegal and prohibited,” xAI posted to the @Grok account on X...

When a system is controlled by someone as predatory as Musk, it will inevitably keep breaking 'safeguards' in outrageous and sick ways.

China's per capita emissions are now on par with the UK's.

China now generates energy from just solar that is nearly the total of India's energy use (from sources of energy).

So the China hawks who argue "Ah, but China!" can now be quiet.

We need our parameters reset.

We dance around the middle ground in this country. It’s ridiculous.

We either go full-bore for heavy taxation but grade-A public services or we go full-bore on low taxation and it’s every man for himself.

One makes the vast majority happy. One makes the rich happy.
'Every time we asked the electorate their opinion, vast numbers of them press the button clearly marked “Make things better”. Yet every time, things just keep on getting worse.'

Happy new year, everybody!

Pleased to see we were right about this.

The exodus of pupils from private to state didn’t happen and the majority of schools lowered fees.

Win win all round for the majority.

Listening to those that choose to privately educate their kids whinge on and on and on was draining. It was all lies.

This was obvious to any sentient being.

Dave should sod off back to his shed where they keep the tools.

Still not missing you Dave.

Just another Tory that did more than his fair share of pounding nails in Britains coffin.

£125B is wage and utility bill theft.

Our pricing structure is absurd and the re-investment programs are a joke.

In Britain we’re seen as ripe for being ripped off and our governments have allowed it at every turn.
So the cost of energy is rising right when people need it most - and despite falling wholesale prices.

Average bills remain almost £700 higher than before the energy 'crisis' - yet the energy industry has made over £125 billion in record UK profits since 2020.

The quarterly energy price cap will rise by 0.2% from today (1 January 2026).

This will be a rise of around 28p per month for the average household.

I am so very pleased to (almost) never see nor hear a peep from Tom “I lived in America for 6 months so have life experience” Harwood.

A braying donkey of a pundit, he is Harry Enfields Tory Boy persona made flesh with none of the associated humour.

He is an apex nothing-burger talking head.
Here comes the next pointless mini-campaign.

A significant number of the MAGA base and their youth pastor network are shitting themselves and planning moves away from Florida at this moment.
Hopefully that will eliminate most pastors and youth counselors. Trump would be a bonus.

Imagine voluntarily giving up your country’s position as the number one economy and worldwide draw for top talent just to satisfy an enormous number of racists, tech bros, gullible idiots and banjo playing hillbillies.

Everyone hates America right now.

It’s turned the world on its head.

This man presents clear and concise information on how Labour have done a better job than they’ve been credited with.

There is, overall, a progressive flavour to the work they’ve done.

People still won’t forgive their attacks on the elderly, trans community and immigrants.

So far so naff for 🌹
Labour’s two budgets have delivered progressive tax and benefit changes that benefit the poorest and children the most.

I’m more than comfortable with that.

Absolutely wild. Sample rooftop solar costs of $0.50/W in Australia and order of week(s) install time vs $3.3/W and 6 months in San Francisco. 40% of Australian households have rooftop solar.
Today on Volts: you've probably heard that Australia has cheap rooftop solar power. You've probably also heard some rumors & myths about it. (Is it destabilizing the grid?) I called my favorite Australian energy expert to clear it all up. This is a fun one!
