Here to escape the dross of British society on Twitter who think they’re about to usher in a new era in which they rule over us all.
Agree. Tesla’s profitability relies on taxpayers not sales. Never paid a dividend. The share price may be huge but it doesn’t reflect the business. It reflects possibility. Mainly the possibility that it will continue to be showered with public money.

I’m not convinced that’s going to be the case.

Musk was *promised* $1t if he can deliver.

Big difference that should be pointed out.

Not that it makes much difference. It’s still grotesque.

Looking forward to Trump trying to sue the BBC for the billion dollars he’s threatening to.

Freedom of expression still means something over here. It’s not his personal playground like the US is just yet.

It’s not what you know. It’s whose ass you kiss.

Yes.

The death penalty for him and all the others on that list would be too easy a punishment.

I used to believe that too.

There is no appetite for that level of human lived experience improvement outside of a select few characters in power.

They alone will struggle to turn the tide.

There’s no way out of the mire though Prem.

People earning 35k have been convinced that people earning £10m a year are their best mates and that small boats are the cause of their troubles.

Politicians have no balls. Nobody will do what’s necessary.

We’re stuck like this. And worse. Forever.

I wasn’t really comparing these countries to the UK. More a global comparison of the geothermal advantage that Iceland enjoys or the hydroelectric of Albania, Nepal and Paraguay.

We have the resources but no public pressure that can rival the FF lobby and cash hungry politicians.

Meanwhile other countries run on 100% clean energy, albeit ones with geographical advantages.

Solar is now so cheap it’s more cost effective to install panels as fences than it is timber.

Australia now offering its citizens free electricity due to their solar investments.

F.Fuels are unnecessary.

“Nobody knows more about what nobody knows about than me.”

Fallen from a window hopefully.

Pipe down Chuck. Nobody wants to hear it anymore.

Sellout. Cheap man in an expensive suit. Waster.

People will spit when they say your name.
November 10, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Probably not. Awareness doesn’t seem to be present in this decision making process so unlikely within him.

Need a picture of Chuck at the job centre because America needs him gone. Vamanos. Done. Desaparecido!
November 10, 2025 at 11:53 AM
Yes, we do indeed. I don’t hide from that fact. I don’t oppose that point.

You’ll note I used very specific language about *listening* to his racist views.

Because no, I don’t have to pay any attention to anybody I don’t want to. Especially a racist.

“Every child will be at the forefront of our thinking” was a well delivered if corny lie.

This guy looks like he wouldn’t trouble a razor blade even once a week. What possible experience could he have to bring to the table that would be of any benefit to the average council tax payer?

Laughable.

It is partly that, but also the part of the human psyche that tells us that one day it might be us, ridiculous as it is.

You are far closer to homelessness and a miserable death on the cold, hard streets that you are to being a billionaire.

Hell, only a tiny percentage will ever be a 💰millionaire.
