You have to admit it’s hilarious that literally 6mos ago Argentina was the country MAGA was saying was gonna dunk on all the neolibs and show them how to run a proper economy and now they’re literally begging for (and getting!) a handout from American taxpayers.

Clown ideology. 🤡

Experienced this with headphones - well worth it

Couldn't find Bobbie when I got home today, shook some dreamies & had a moment they could probably use in their adverts

Kemi "I don't make gaffes" Badenoch strikes again!

Odd that all the Tufton Street guys went quiet about the economic miracle of Milei's Argentina ? What happened I wonder?

Surely not the exact same thing that happens every time right wing economic libertarianism collides with reality?

Tice getting an easy ride on sky today comes as a surprise to no one

Blatantly lies about the content of Starmer's speech with basically 0 push back

Slightly resent the notion that a working class person suddenly becomes something else when they get a uni degree

The shift in lab's electoral base to include more grads than "working class" voters also coincides with huge numbers of working class kids going to uni for the first time.

Genuinely remarkable how quickly Musk's twitter rebrand has poisoned the minds of British Right

Reform’s Yusuf says Starmer is “inciting violence” and “demonising” Farage with his comments and will be responsible if anything happens? So who is responsible for all the hate following Farage calling Muslims a “fifth column”, BLM “The Taliban”.? Chinese “c****y” & referring to the “Jewish lobby”?
October 1, 2025 at 4:17 PM
Totally agree - overplayed their hand

The chances of a reversal in fortunes before 2029 are still there. Starmer really needs to get his act together & start delivering ASAP or clear the way for someone who will
Reform whining about incitement against Farage is another misstep (just looks pathetic).

After a summer where they got to control the narrative they're flailing around a bit now.

A horrifying reminder that this shit isn't limited to the website formerly known as twitter
October 1, 2025 at 8:58 PM
The only reason it is possible to make this argument is because of a half toxic/half incompetent media landscape that reported the story as if Starmer had called everyone with concerns about immigration as racist instead of the specific policy around Indefinite Leave to Remain he actually criticised

Right-wing media fluffs Farage for years, to the point where he now leads the polls, and then start whining about Starmer being 'obsessed' when he starts telling some long overdue home truths. It's actually hilarious.

Farage, after spending over a decade carefully riding the line of inviting hatred/violence against his political enemies is suddenly very concerned about violence in politics

The most transparent and vile leader of any UK party in history

Beginning to feel as though reform / Farage have overplayed their hand.

UK public has no time for Trumpian tactics. Assuming trump leaves office in 29, the door is open for a heavy campaign of comparison by the left - Farage would be Britain's Trump etc

Reassuring to see the icy reception of US generals to Trump & Hegseth. Hard to launch a military takeover without them onside...

Anyone know if Sarwar actually compared this to Musk & DOGE or if this is creative license of the journalist?

The former is mental, why on earth would any labour politician attempt to align themselves to Musk, however tangentially, unless they are completely ignorant to everything about him?

Somehow only learning now that the leader of the AFD is:
1. A gay woman with two sons and a partner who is from Sri Lanka
2. West German, but doesn't live in Germany fully time
3. Describes Maggie Thatcher as her "role model" on economic policy

How is it the case that the UK simultaneously has extensive regulation & red tape on house building, such as it takes forever to get anything approved and yet the standards of the builds are widely reported to be terrible

I wrote about Kendrick Lamar Superbowl performance-- its subversive messaging about America being a rigged, deadly game of survival-- especially for Black people.

But we need to stop pretending revolution is going to come from celebrities. It'll come from us.

Opinion | Kendrick Lamar’s performance was as Black and subversive as all get-out
His message at the Super Bowl was a warning and a threat.
