I just got an advance copy of @justinklugh.bsky.social’s new book. The first line says:
“At the New York World’s Fair in 1939, you could buy a hot dog for 10 cents and a tongue sandwich for 15.”
Needless to say, I am excited to read this book.

My favorite thing that Kyle Schwarber has ever done in a Phillies uniform was his home run in the NLCS against Yu Darvish in which his bat doesn’t flex. Usually, you see a little give on contact, but here? Nothing but brute force.
