Well and truly, I hope Gustavo Petro is somewhere secure. If kidnapping Maduro and his wife is allowed to stand I find it very hard to believe that this kind of regime change stops with them.

I'll be honest. I don't care if proposing articles of impeachment is an empty gesture that will ultimately die in the Republican controlled congress, I want Dems to do it anyway. I want them to put political pressure on their opposing party even if it's doomed to fail.
