At least in theory, there is a way to restore democracy to Venezuela, return it's vast oil wealth to the Venezuelan people, and reasonably compensate American oil companies for getting nationalized years ago.
But, Trump and his cronies are much too greedy, short-sighted, and incompetent for that.

Tony Dokoupil just last week said that CBS was going to represent the views of average Americans and not the elites. He then cancelled his vacation to come on the air and say that regime change in Venezuela is awesome, a position that maybe 20% of Americans hold.
