I was using the word "oligarchy" before it was cool.
No, @slotkin.senate.gov — Dems shouldn’t stop using the term “oligarchy”. They should make it a household term. And they should be wary of anyone telling them otherwise.

People know what it means. And if they don’t, tell them. That’s what leaders do.

Apparently the MAGAstan government thinks that this is still the 80s and everybody in China still rides bikes everywhere.
Karoline Leavitt, "China needs to make a deal with us, we don't have to make a deal with them"

"China wants what we have, what every country wants, what we have, the American consumer"

What some people aren’t factoring into their analysis is the reality that companies were buying tons of inventory to beat the tariffs.
That’s cash taken from being able to invest or hire. In fact the probably cut costs and jobs as a result.

Let them know we're getting fed up

That's the thing: no matter what happens in the mid-terms or '28, the fact that the orange monster was elected is going to linger with us. We put him there. Twice.

Even the finest state statecraft cannot quickly undo that.
