Wrestling adjacent personality. Vinyl record guy. Folk, (Good) Country, Singer-Songwriter music guy. Bad guitar player because I don't practice and haven't gone to see my teacher in like 7 months. Bad songwriter because I don't like rhyming verses.
I want to state for the record I didn't cry during the Springsteen movie with the guy from the bear like I did during the Bob Dylan movie for no reason.

I did start to cry some during the previews at the ping pong movie with guy from the Dylan movie & the Huge Jackman Neil Diamond impersonator film

If you want to know the type of psychosis I have, I'm the guy that at 12:30am heard the word charcuterie in a YouTube short thought about a song he hasn't heard in years, remembered that the lyric was crudité, not charcuterie and somehow found what he was thinking about.

Wow. Steve Earle Invited to Be The Next Grand Ole Opry Member -...
In a completely unexpected move, though not entirely undeserved, alt-country legend and Americana Godfather Steve Earle has been invited to become the next member of the Grand Ole Opry.

All these kids in middle school English class reading "The Giver" are going to be really confused because the book isn't anything like the Chappell Roan song.

R.I.P. to Melba Montgomery, one of country music's greatest singers (and, to my ears, George Jones' ideal duet partner)

Melba Montgomery made it to 86 years old. I know many people rediscovered her voice in the past few years and I hope she got a kick out of that.

I cleaned out and cleared out a bunch of stuff that was in my room and now I have room in my room and lots of empty space.

However I put all my records onto the shelf of a bookcase type thing and now it looks like I barely have any records, so I simply need to buy more I suppose.

I finished the story, saw the Bob Dylan movie. I loved it, loved it more then I even thought I would. Even with all the other old people in there I enjoyed myself. Maybe in 10 years they'll spin this off into a movie about Pete Seeger and I'll go see that to keep my 10 years between movies streak.

I think I have a plan in order for the Bob Dylan featuring the Dune guy in it. I found my empty movie theater, hopefully. The problem is it's a newfangled movie theater with heated seats that I assume also recline so I'm scared I'll simply go into old man mode and fall asleep and miss the movie

I made a smart financial decision for once. I paid 13.99 each (plus 1.68 in tax) for two Jimmy Buffett reissue vinyls. I could have splurged for Seabreeze and Pumpkin Spice colored vinyl but I didn't fall for it. Took advantage of that 50% off to get them both for the price of one. No claps needed.

I didn't go so the Bob Dylan movie today because all the screenings today except for the 9 whatever PM one was pretty full (and I'll probably be asleep by then) with a mostly full theater I wouldn't be able to react to every historical person's appearance like it's a Marvel movie like I wanted to
December 26, 2024 at 12:50 AM
Should I go see the Bob Dylan Movie with the dune guy at 11:45 am on Christmas with the one person that's already booked their seat or should I be the lone person at a different time with no one else there with me for 2 hours 20 and leave this person to be alone for their movie like they want.

This Thanksgiving I'm thankful for this copy of Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant I found at an antique place.

What better way to spend Thanksgiving then listening to the dramatic retelling in song of the biggest crime to ever hit the town of Stockbridge Massachusetts.

I'm thankful for the music

I had a Bob Dylan impression as a child and I think it was because like most children I was given a harmonica to play with but I don't know how I had an understanding of who Bob Dylan was or what he talked like because it wasn't like I was exposed to Bob Dylan at all as a child.
