Hi Everyone! I’m new over here so thought I would introduce myself. I’m Sarah and I am a glass artist from Cheshire. I love nature and the outdoors, I’m at my happiest out walking or peddling 😊
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

I think most people know by now that most of my work is inspired by nature, our oceans and all that live within are a huge part of that for me as this clip hopefully shows.

Couple more Chainmaille pieces. One was solid sterling silver and the other heavyweight raw copper, requested by a chap that wanted to try a raw copper bracelet for arthritis but wanted something different to a copper band, I couldn’t say if it works but it looked nice 😊

Here’s something I don’t often post. I also make (when time permits) Chainmaille jewellery. Chainmaille was originally used in medieval times for protection in battle, there are thousands of weaves. The picture shows a bracelet made for a gentleman using copper and stainless steel,I also use silver.

He’s out, Mr Mackerel has finished cooking 😊. Decided to call him ‘Stargazey’. The panel stands in a beautifully patterned green Lakeland slate base.

When I am old take me out to stand at the edge of the sea,

Spray from waves-break on my face, salt wind licking my skin,

And the long stare out to the wide dark line where the sea drinks down the sky.

I have spent much of the longest day working on a jewellery commission which has lead to a new range of jewellery… here’s a sneak peek but needs another firing yet. 😊 Sorry for the logo watermark … needs must.
