Hi Everyone! I’m new over here so thought I would introduce myself. I’m Sarah and I am a glass artist from Cheshire. I love nature and the outdoors, I’m at my happiest out walking or peddling 😊
Pretty much done I think and ready for its frame …. #wool

A medium I don’t work in often but I’m hoping to work more with wool & felting this coming year alongside my glass. This piece was a favourite of mine and inspired by my trips to The Outer Hebrides. Watch this space 😊

My customer decided not to oxidise the copper chainmaille bracelet but to let it darken a little gradually, so it’s had a final polish and will go out on Monday to its new home 😊

I nearly forgot… I actually have a #FingerpostFriday 😊

All done on the raw copper chainmaille bracelet, now to oxidise it or not to oxidise, that is the question 😊

First commission of the year nearly done. A raw copper chainmaille bracelet for a gent. This piece uses chainmaille weaves initially developed in medieval times, some weaves were used in armour. Practice clasp done now to form the actual one.😊

I’d just like to say thank you to anyone that ordered from me this year, it is always much appreciated. I would also like to wish you all the very best Christmas. Christmas isn’t always an easy time for everyone, so a little kindness can often mean so much. Take Care All, Sarah 🙏
