And he becomes part of it. Dissolving into particles, his atoms melding with the same atoms that break against the shoreline, rending him down to such tiny motes that he doesn’t know where he stops and the pleasure of the release begins. Even after he cracks against the shoreline. Even as he feels himself coming back together, those subatomic particles arranging themselves into a flushed chest, a sweaty mane of hair, an arched back, fingers wound into bedsheets… “Oh, fuck,” his reassembled voice croaks. “That’s it, darling. I’ve got you. Just breathe.”
