It may be of interest to some that you can now reduce Pinterest’s recommendations of GenAI content.
It obviously won’t remove it totally (since many pins are grabbed offsite from places like Artstation) but it should reduce the presence of AI in your feed significantly

One of my favourite ngon modeling solutions is a 5-sided face to hold tight inner corners.
Very predictable edgeflow (it simply subdivides to a 5-sided pole in the middle of the face) and saves some work on surfaces that allow for it.

- Get up for 5 mins every 30 mins
- Look at something 20 ft away for 20 secs every 20 mins
- Get 7-8 hrs sleep. PRIORITIZE this over all else
- Drink 2-3 liters water per day
Do these things because you don't want to experience what makes you regret not doing them.

This take from gamers and hobbyist devs seems to emerge every few months. It’s clear consumers broadly misunderstand why dynamic GI is a blessing to development pipelines regardless of scale.

They have a rep for being hard because they're what most beginners will touch when entering 3D. Maya/ZBrush/C4D/Modo/Houdini will kick your ass just as readily.

Social media breaks should occupy the same priority in people’s minds as exercise, sleep or eating fruit/veg. It’s genuinely bad for you to be stimulated all the time. The way our brains process info and regulate emotions requires you to be bored occasionally.

First time a Windows update was so bad I had to roll it back.
It demolished my wifi/bluetooth reliability and apparently it's mangling SSDs in some cases.
Maybe skip the August update!

You practice so that your worst is still good. When you're exhausted, don't have enough time, the brief is slim, the anxiety's peaking and you're in over your head, at least you can still make it good enough.
You draw a ton so when the time comes you simply perspire good draftsmanship.

I art directed my studio's contributions to the new Valorant map! We played a major part in concept and pre-production art for this location and I had the pleasure to direct some incredible artists. Very proud of how this has come together!

I art directed my studio's contributions to the new Valorant map! We played a major part in concept and pre-production art for this location and I had the pleasure to direct some incredible artists. Very proud of how this has come together!
