This formally marks the end of the international rule of law. Every country’s delegate who voted for the US plan is a coward and has just legitimized genocide as a fast track to imperial land-grabbing and overthrow.

The UN Security Council means nothing now.

Excellent context on Carney’s announcement yesterday in Terrace: “At Thursday’s announcement, Carney sidestepped sticky questions around the U.S. investment in Ksi Lisims and opposition from other First Nations in the region.”
In Terrace yesterday, Prime Minister Mark Carney sidestepped questions about US ownership and First Nations opposition to the Ksi Lisims LNG export terminal, which has been added to a list of projects the feds plan to expedite.

From this minister's op-ed: "People wanting to experience God are more likely to meet the Divine trying to shut down the Broadview, Illinois, ICE facility than we ever were in church...God does not live in our houses of worship, but...with those who are bearing the brunt of cruelty in this moment."
Oh wow @reuters.com got the photo here:

If the Democrats cave because their Thanksgiving air travel plans have been jeopardized, that’s on the broader Democratic constituency who claim they care about the most vulnerable, but will leave tens of millions stranded at the bus stop of irreparable damage to their lives.
The people who are hurting the most from Trump immigration policies, the withholding of SNAP benefits and the immanent skyrocketing of health insurance costs aren’t travelling by air for Thanksgiving.
I know how huge this holiday is for y’all down there - it’s bigger than Christmas, but damn!
