Wake Up Dead Man

Good:
- Daniel Craig and Josh O'Connor were great together
- It made me hoot with laughter several times

Not so good:
- Underutilised/boring ensemble characters by comparison to other KO films
- Way too long

Knives Out is still my favourite.

I can forgive Westworld somewhat for its ending because I double checked that it was cancelled before they could round it up, but couldn't they have hedged their bets even a little? The last two episodes were so dang depressing even with the 'possibility of more'.

The Avatar TLA skins are back in Overwatch, so of course I had to get Appa Orisa 😀 Bossed it with Orisa through three tank games to three wins, yip yipping all the way 💪

My dental surgery: A quick reminder that your check up is due, which means travelling over 100 miles to a town that now fills you with dread to have the same condescending ***** from last year check your teeth ☺️

Stupid messed up dentistry system 🤬

Ignoring the anxiety by watching more Westworld 🥲

Very grateful for my flu jab right now, because I'm on my fourth day of feeling so exhausted and sore, but I know it could be worse.

I've kept myself entertained by:
playing Dispatch (3rd time, heh)
watching Jingle Bell Heist (actually decent Xmas move)
and S1 of Truth Be Told (goes so dark o.O)

Five of the anti genocide protestors on hunger strike that the British govt have held as terrorists have been hospitalised. This Scottish newspaper is the only news outlet in GB that thinks this is newsworthy.

Spotify has laid off thousands in recent years, while reportedly paying artists $0.003 per stream.

Spotify profits rose 28% in Q3. Its CEO is worth $9.8 billion. It's making money off ICE recruitment ads.

Don't you think it's time put a wrap on corporate greed and exploitation?

I think before I realised I was burnt out from a lifetime of masking, I could muster my way through games (and other things) that I maybe I wasn't enjoying so much. Now? I got completely turned off by the first 20 odd minutes of AC Valhalla. It's especially bad after Dispatch being SO fun.

Dispatch gets a 9/10 from me. The story was superb: very funny (and rude), but also made me cry. I adored Robert, and the supporting cast was 👍

It took me longer than I would've liked to get to grips with the main dispatch system (👎 RNG element) and hacking felt tedious.

Otherwise, a great time 😊

Just finished 6/8 and all I can say is 😭😭
Played 3/8 chapters of Dispatch. I love it so much already 😍

My first shift was incredible, and my second was God awful 🤣 Here's hoping I can turn it around on the next one.

Controls on PS5 make it hard to move around the dispatch board, which ain't great tbh. That's one of my only gripes.
I used it to get Dispatch and AC Valhalla :D

A word to the wise -- ShopTo currently have an offer where you can get 5% off giftcards for console credit (on top of the usual discount), so I just got £40 of PS credit for £34.05.

I woke up and realised that the end of my last dream was actually a pretty decent story idea that I was working out as I went along, heh! This never happens, so I wrote it down in case I ever get the inspiration to turn it into something more 🤣

I sent out two eBay orders on the same day, both with Evri.

There was a strong part of me that didn't want to allow Evri as an option because of how useless I've found them in the past (but they're cheaper, thus easier sales).

They delivered one lickety split and completely lost the other.

Not a surprise. I looked at the BBC article yesterday and it listed how Russia would get everything they wanted and more in exchange for Ukraine getting nothing (except Russia will stop bombing them for a bit, I guess. They'll be able to come back whenever they like because no NATO.)
Wait, it just got even more twisted

The seller marked it as a gift AND customs ignored the notice saying VAT was paid.

A comedy of errors.
I'm not entirely sure what to do when my Royal Mail tracking page is telling me I need to pay a customs charge and they'll hold my parcel till I do so (I quibble this as I did pay tax etc. via Etsy) but when I go to the page to pay it says there's no charges associated with the parcel.

steam is apparently allowing "this game had AI in it that it didn't disclose" as a valid return statement, so if you or anyone you know actually paid $70 for slop, get that money back
