While the editors are fine-tuning the upcoming AI issue, your pals at WFQ have put together a new site called indiehorror.co that highlights the independent presses and writers crafting new stories regularly.

Looking for something weird or scary to scratch that reading itch? Look no further!
We're still fine-tuning a few things, but the new Indie Horror has escaped its cage and is now available for terrorizing your local neighborhood.

Browse and search the site for a global collection of the best small press horror and weird tales for that difficult-to-surprise reader in your life!

Something to whet your appetites as we get our "King in Yellow" issue out the door...
Did you know?

In the Victorian era, a man in San Francisco declared himself Emperor of the United States.

Joshua Norton donned full regalia and strolled through the city. He issued decrees and even printed his own currency — which a few stores actually accepted.

While we have our heads down getting "King in Yellow" out, we are also working on our next issue on Weird AI.

This post might be something that whets your appetite for THAT upcoming issue, as well.

Mark your calendars!
I'm pleased to say that our little no-budget short film that we shot on a rainy weekend, AFTER THE FALL, will play both editions of the HP Lovecraft Film Festival (in Providence, RI and Portland, OR) this fall. Also, we'll play Cinemafest in NYC, and The Scares that Care. It's a busy season for us.

The Table of Contents for our imminent King in Yellow issue is now available. 60 500-word flash fiction pieces and poems about Chambers, Carcosa, and everyone's favorite ocher liege.

We're joined by some new voices this time, and are honored to be able to share two unpublished poems by Joe Pulver.
