Our first release will be Virtua Pop by @abivasquez.bsky.social, releasing on the 29th of July. It's a story about cyborgs, corporate media exploitation and drone murder. Of course you want to read this.

I've spent the past decade dropping little riddles in the comments of @orbitaldropkick.bsky.social 's webcomic #killsixbilliondemons; only recently, I googled the alias I use there, and discovered that I'm some kind of cryptid to the readership there

"Any implication that spending time in nature can somehow offer a transformation and recovery compounds the message that illnesses simply require mental and physical determination to be overcome."
I've been writing in @thebookseller.com about how questions on the veracity of elements of The Salt Path highlight some of the serious issues associated with the prevalence of the 'nature cure' narrative.

I once knew a man with a self-imposed rule: he would only listen to music that was less than three months old.
The exception was on his birthday, when he could listen to whatever he wanted. He listened to Double Nickels on the Dime, every time.

I have a new project emerging. Considerably more punk than anything I've written in a while. If you like what I've written in the past, you might like what I write in the future.

I've had a few days circling the rim of a meltdown, being completely drained by the end of the day. Today the weather is cooler and the pace of work is lighter, but I wonder if I just need a day to rot in my room

I love outdoor gear. My wardrobe (and receipts folder) will attest. but skills, experience, conditioning - those are where the magic lies. You can't build a hobby just out of buying things, and you certainly can't save a life that way.
