Magnificent Versailles(10m visitors) is a much bigger attraction than Windsor Castle(1.5m) or Buckingham Palace(0.5m), proving you don’t need a royal family to attract tourists.

And the extensive grounds are free.

We hear a lot about integration of migrants. A small point I’ve noticed with my parents’ carers is how they offer an anglicised version of their name for our convenience. I don’t think they should have to do this but it shows how hard people try to “fit in”.

This is a 52-pound 9000+ page accordion-bound artist’s book of Donald Trump’s lies, conceived, printed, and bound by Jill and Ray Nichols of @leadgraffiti.bsky.social in Delaware. Each of the 9000 pages has the text (per the Washington Post) of one or more of Trump’s lies; none are repeated.

Vital piece of investigative reporting from Sky. They've uncovered the X algorithm which feeds users extremist right wing material from the moment they join the site. It is a far-right radicalisation engine, by design.

When I read that the former French President was going to jail, in isolation, with just a TV, toilet and shower and one hour outside a day, I felt a little bit jealous.
