As I wrote for Rolling Stone, this was the most dangerous bill for trans health care of the Trump 2.0 era because it would potentially include a Hyde amdt for trans care without the votes to kill it.

That it’s not in the bill is a big deal and reveals it was a poison pill for Dems to fund the govt
HUGE NEWS for trans people: We have the latest minibus, including the bill to fund the Department of Health and Human Services and it looks like there are no restrictions on gender-affirming care for transgender people.

Back on the job market, the doctor told me I have high cholesterol, fascism is devouring this country, and I'm still mourning Bob Weir. This month has lasted 10 years.

i have enough pitches from halloween for IHTOV. still open for thanksgiving pitches (albums you are grateful for, alice's restaurant, etc) and now open for christmas. this could be about christmas music or getting a stereo for christmas, open to interpretation ihavethatonvinyl.com/liner-notes/...
Pitching Your Vinyl Story to IHTOV
The possibilities are endless, really. No pitch is too weird or offbeat for me. I want variety on the site, not the same old records being talked over and over.

Lots of talk today about the demise of BlueSky. For whatever it's worth, it's been a boon to indie publishers like us. Twitter and Facebook have pretty much silenced us, so the engagement here has, and continues to be, wonderful.

I was laid off this week out of the blue (thanks, ChatGPT). I’m casting my net far and wide—I have experience copywriting, teaching, editing, program development in parks and rec, and administrative duties in higher education… if you know of anything, I’d appreciate the shout!❣️
