Hanson Way
The Hanson Way is a 13.6-mile route on the National Cycle Network, connecting Oxford to Abingdon.

From here the route takes you past the beautiful village of Sutton Courtenay, arriving in Didcot by the railway station. πŸš‚

Choose to return back to Oxford along the same path if you fancy a longer ride, or catch the train from Didcot back to Oxford city centre.

This week we're travelling to Oxfordshire for our route of the week - the Hanson Way 🚲

Beginning in historic Oxford, the 13-mile route heads south to join an off-road path parallel to the railway line, before taking you across parkland to the heart of Abingdon. 🌿

UPDATE: Looking good at Hylton Bridge! When it's finished in March we'll have transformed 1.5km of dusty old path into a new 'Flexipave' surface. The path between Sunderland and Washington will be wider and safer with improved drainage. Made possible thanks to @nationalhighways.bsky.social

The loop is 16 miles of beautiful salt marsh and farmland that arrives at fantastic beaches which have been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. 😍🌊

The Peregrine Path is fantastic for a half-term family ride, at just 12 kilometres long. It starts in the historic market town of Monmouth, before winding alongside the River Wye, past Symonds Yat and on to The Kymin, which offers panoramic views across Wales πŸ‘€
