The amount of sauerkraut ordered on my website in the past 10 minutes is alarming and now my online sauerkraut inventory is out of stock until I can properly evaluate the situation

Got fired from a company I had given my life to. Unemployment was boring so I volunteered with Farm Fresh. COVID paused volunteerwork so I kept working with the local food system through other avenues. Now it's my entire personality.
What’s the lore behind choosing your career path ?

My market's EBT reader stopped working and had to go into crisis mode lol
Someone tracked dog poop through the hallway and that's a great metaphor for how today is going (it's since been cleaned up so please come shop)

The pride I feel when my artist friends sell art is unmatched. My one friend, who was in a bit of a funk recently had a burst of creativity and was able to submit a ton of art to a show and she's already sold FIVE(!) works

That feeling when you finally find a stylist who just gets you.

If I'm going to pay money for a haircut, it's because I want an expert to make a radical change and too often, I'll be like "surprise me" and people panic.

Ji-Ji was just like "oh hell yes" and went crazy and my curls are back, baby!

My toxic trait is that I'm such a fucking snob when it comes to food

Just a reminder that the murderer our POtuS met with this week is also the same one buying up all of the major players in the gaming industry. They're one of Nintendo's largest stakeholders.

So instead of buying a Switch 2 this holiday season, spend that money on indie games.

Days like today have me considering just liquidating my business. $39.83 today. I paid someone to work all day and for what?

Oh Home Depot’s earnings are down? Having a bad quarter? Gosh who’d have thought that colluding with the police to arrest your regular customers would have consequences

I will never not accidentally say Andrew Taint.
Except for when I say it on purpose.

So a few weeks ago, we started watching All's Fair because it sounded interesting. As soon as we started watching it, it became painfully obvious that Ryan Murphy was involved. Like with all Ryan Murphy trash, I can't stop watching no matter how ridiculous it gets.

I'm trying to help as many groups as possible but when I'm just given the broad category of "produce" and then told no to the first two things I've offered, I don't feel motivated to continue

Reminder: you can get some really freaking cool holiday presents at The Map Center. Maps on Vinyl for the music lover in your life. He also has books on video game maps and an atlas for tea lovers. Or get a map. Or buy me some of these things.
I just did $1,002 in in-person sales this weekend. That's more than the Map Center has ever made in a single weekend while I've been the owner. I had hundreds of folks come through and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
Doing my damnedest working through the weekend and making progress.
