Cam's friends: you know how he's always referencing that "I'm just a little guy and it's my birthday" video?

Well today he actually is a birthday boy

WAMA finally had its Christmas party. I ended up with a clock. Erin ended up with a word that rhymes with clock. This is the advantage of being on a street with both Nostalgia and Mister Sister

Amazon dropped $75M on the Melania doc — with a big chunk going into the Trumps' pockets.

Since then, Amazon Web Services got a $580M Pentagon contract.

And this week, Pete Hegseth visited Blue Origin facilities as the DoD overhauls how it hands out defense contracts.

Always follow the money.

It's truly a shame that Hellraiser isn't based on a true story because these Pizzagate folks would be the perfect targets for the Cenobites.

I use my need for a high protein diet as justification for the amount of cheese I consume.

A local farm had to change their name because someone else trademarked it. I hate capitalism.

Update. I was given incorrect information. Our payroll was $100 MORE than we did in sales.

It was lovely being your neighborhood indie grocer. I'm going to go update my resume.
Our payroll was literally $9 less than our revenue last week. Excuse me while I cry a lil

Is there really talk of shutting down for 90 days? Small businesses cannot afford that, especially with the cost of commercial rent in PVD

I went to give my widdle kitty a kiss on her widdle head and then I realized that 'Twas not a toy she was cuddling but was yet another live mouse.

We're in the process of onboarding someone to our farmers market staff and their email ends in 02, implying that they are turning 24 this year and Chloe finally got to feel how it feels to feel old

Omg my hometown like just discovered ChatGPT and they're now doing all of the AI portraits that people in my network up here did a year ago. God help us all.

I start my new job soon and I'm super stoked for this one. I normally hate sales but with this one, I get to claim to be a certified beverage goblin.

In a nutshell here's the main issue with my business: our expenses increase at a rate faster than our revenue. On paper, we could easily rectify this by laying off our employees but we don't want to do that. So we just keep rolling along hoping that something will change. Maybe it will. Who knows?

This is an entire week of serious discussions. Chloe and I have been discussing the future of our business at length. Do we cut payroll, do we take on more markets, do we pivot back to online, or do we just liquidate and close?

My intern regularly asks a lot of questions. I usually have a good answer or can look it up. Today, I finally met my match:

What would you do if ICE came and took me?

It's a fair question and it's not fair that it's on both of our minds. This is just the first time we've discussed it.

The dilemma of: I want farmers to thrive and get their bag but also omg why are some of them charging $15/dozen for eggs or $10/dozen for whole chickens.

And I thought my whole birds were expensive at $6.99/LB

Stupid question: Does anyone in know who I need to call or email at the City of Providence about the lack of plowing on Bridge St? The bar side has been plowed but my side hasn't been touched. It's a tight squeeze for delivery trucks.

Here's what people are forgetting about MAGA folks: they lack the reading comprehension skills and general curiosity required to learn information to change their mind. POtuS makes a claim about something being or not being in the files and they just believe him.

I need to say this publicly, in case it isn’t clear: The Womxn Project has been instrumental in helping me to report on and understand issues of transgender and reproductive rights and our judge selection process. They are the secret sauce of my work, and deserve your support.

We need a mayor whose platform is more than just "voted for me because I'm not Don"

Excited to see what Adam Greenman brings to the table.
