If you can, see TRAIN DREAMS in a theater before it hits Netflix. Just a wonderful little movie, beautiful to look at and to feel.

i've never seen a baseball player break up a double play by leaping into the air, spinning 180 degrees, and taking the throw to the back of the dome. it was perhaps the most beautiful thing i have ever witnessed

My ★★★★★ review of Casablanca boxd.it/bcYyxT

"The problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world."

Cynical classic with heart & smarts, Bogart & Bergman are torn between love, honor & sacrifice. In Casablanca, everything's for sale...until it isn't!

Today at the Capitol we saw Grand Hotel. The film is as moving as Vicki Baum's novel. And altogether outstandingly shot and affectingly acted. Also spoken very naturally…I so enjoy going to the cinema; it takes me out of myself. But it is so difficult to persuade Eva to go. ~ Victor Klemperer
